Canadian-based Ionomr Innovations has validated “industry-leading” stability and performance of an AEM electrolyser using its Aemion+® membranes and polymers.
The validation comes as the completion of Ionomr’s participation in the Shell GameChanger Accelerator with the US Department of Energy’s (DOE’s) National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) (GCxN).
Working with NREL and Shell, Ionomr says its Aemion+ anion-exchange materials were shown to increase the hydrogen output of iridium-free electrolyser systems while demonstrating high levels of stability over 800-hour tests.
