ITOCHU signs MoU with Hyphen to support Namibian green hydrogen project

Hyphen Hydrogen Energy and ITOCHU Corporation have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to accelerate a sub-Saharan African green hydrogen project.

Hyphen has collaborated with one of Japan’s largest general trading and investment companies and will now enter talks to partner on the multi-billion green hydrogen project.

ITOCHU CEO of Africa Bloc, Shinya Ishizuka, signed the MoU with Hyphen CEO, Marco Raffinetti, at a signing ceremony that took place in the presence of the Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry for Japan, Nishimura Yasutoshi and the Minister for Mines and Energy for Namibia, Tom Alweendo.
