Large-scale Texas green hydrogen project to utilise EH2’s 100MW electrolyser system

Electric Hydrogen (EH2) has announced it will supply a 100MW electrolyser system to New Fortress Energy’s green hydrogen project in Texas, the US.

The project is expected to produce around 50 tonnes of green hydrogen per day using EH2’s electrolyser system, with the first hydrogen production anticipated for Q4, 2024 and full commercial operation in 2025, capable of scaling to 200MWs in the future.

EH2 are currently manufacturing the 100MW electrolyser systems at its facility in Devens, Massachusetts, whilst its balance-of-plant modules are being fabricated in Texas.
