Lhyfe and VSB Energies Nouvelles have announced the signing of a long-term renewable electricity supply contract utilising a green hydrogen production site.
VSB Energies Nouvelles commissioned the Buléon wind farm in 2021, operating in the heart of the Morbihan region in Brittany, France, and boasting a total capacity of 13.2MW.
Lhyfe Bretagne’s green and renewable hydrogen production site is now under construction, also located in Buléon, which will produce up to two tonnes of hydrogen a day, with an installed capacity of 5MW and expected to be operational in late 2023.
