Linde posts Q3 operating profit of $2.1bn

Linde has reported Q3 operating profit of $2.1bn despite marginal drops in business across key Americas, APAC and EMEA regions.

Q3 net income totalled $1.5bn, rising to $1.78bn for adjusted net income, up 15% year-on-year, on the back of quarterly sales of $8.1bn.

Adjusted operating profit of $2.3bn was also up 15% versus prior year led by higher price and continued productivity initiatives across all segments.

However Americas ($3.6bn), APAC ($1.6bn) and EMEA ($2.1bn) sales were all down 2%, 1% and 1% respectively.
