MoU signed to determine feasibility of green hydrogen projects in Jordan

The Jordanian Ministry of Energy has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Jordan Green Ammonia (JGA) to deploy green hydrogen projects.

The MoU, signed by Minister Dr. Saleh Al-Kharabsheh, announced the commencement of a year-long preliminary feasibility study for large-scale projects based on renewable hydrogen.

JGA – a Hynfra PSA and Fidelity Group company – will lead the feasibility study, with the goal of establishing a green hydrogen project in a greenfield site near the Port of Aqaba, Jordan, which will use desalinated seawater and dedicated renewable power.
