MSC Group to incorporate fuel cells into its next-generation World Europa cruise ship

MSC Group will utilise fuel cells to power its next generation cruise ships.

Revealed today (May 23) the company will incorporate fuel cell technologies into its World Europa ship, powered by LNG, in order to optimise zero-emission technology for cruise ships.

The ship’s environmental credentials include solid oxide fuel cells, a selective catalytic reduction system and enhanced shore-to-ship power capability.
