myFC: Micro hydrogen fuel cell’s significantly reduce the cost of warehouse robots

Hydrogen fuel cells continue to support the development of the ‘technology of tomorrow’ with myFC revealing today (Dec 3) that micro fuel cells can reduce the total cost (TCO) for warehouse robots.

One of the key characteristics for the micro fuel cell is that it can be adapted to small and cramped spaces offered in warehouse storage robots whilst also providing greater refuel times in comparison to batteries.

myFC said that battery charging for contemporary robots takes around an hour and a half and thus the productivity is low in comparison to the hydrogen fuel cell variants which can be achieved in just a few minutes.
