PepsiCo partners with Pure Hydrogen to trial hydrogen vehicle in Australia

Pepsi is set to integrate hydrogen-powered mobility into its Australian operations, as Pure Hydrogen reveals it has partnered with PepsiCo Australia to trial a hydrogen-fuelled prime mover.

Set to be trialled at one of PepsiCo’s manufacturing sites in the City of Brisbane, Pure Hydrogen says it will supply a Hydrogen Fuel Cell 160kW 6 x 4 Prime Mover, as well as hydrogen fuel and refuelling infrastructure.

The six-month trial is planned to commence in the second quarter of 2023, after which the food and beverage giant will assess the commercial use-case of hydrogen-powered vehicles, with the potential to order further vehicles over the 2023-2025 period.
