PowerCell receives follow-on order from global automotive OEM

PowerCell Sweden has received an order worth SEK 7.7m ($787,600) from a global automotive OEM for its S3 fuel cell stacks.

This is the second follow-on order for the stacks, which feature high-power density with compact design and low weight, from the automotive OEM, which placed an order worth SEK 2.6m ($266,000) last month.

Prior to that, the OEM had also placed orders for fuel cell stacks and a fuel cell system for tests and evaluations.

“The climate crisis and increasingly stricter CO2 emissions regulations presents the automotive industry with an unavoidable transformation,” Per Wassén, CEO of PowerCell said.
