RAPT to test Solaris H2 bus

Régie Autonome des Transports Parisiens (RAPT) has signed an agreement with Solaris to test its hydrogen bus.

The vehicle is set to be trialled over a two-month period early 2020 in everyday travelling conditions, with passengers on board.

The new Solaris bus will be housed at the Thiais bus depot, in the Val-de-Marne department.

In hope to eventually operate a 100% clean bus fleet, RAPT has announced it will be the first European operator to convert all of its bus depots to electric and biogas by 2025.
