Renault has given a sneak online peak to its hydrogen-powered Alpine Alpenglow concept car, ahead of going on display at the Paris 2022 Motor Show next week.
The motor manufacturer claims its emits “practically only water vapour” when running and it is powered by two 700-bar cylindrical hydrogen tanks.
Surrounded on either side by two hydrogen reservoirs, located on each side of the teardrop-shaped cockpit, the driver and interior space become one. At the rear, blue-tinted lights are a visual representation of the hydrogen being used as a clean fuel.
In May, Renault announced plans to bring a hydrogen-powered family car to market by 2030.
