Schaeffler heading consortium to develop cost-effective industrial electrolysers for hydrogen production

German-based Schaeffler is heading a consortium looking to develop new, scalable technologies and production processes for PEM-low-temperature electrolysis stacks, revealed today (Oct 8).

As part of a sub section of the H2Giga project, which includes over 130 companies and research institutes, it will contribute to developing systems and methods for the industrial production of electrolyser systems and components needed to make green hydrogen widely available and cost effective.
