Sizewell C, a proposed nuclear power station located in Suffolk, UK, has issued two expression of interest (EOI) proposals to help the development of hydrogen and direct air capture (DAC) technologies at the site.
Released on Monday (23rd Nov), the call hopes to see companies with relevant expertise to come forward and deliver on each project, following on from the release of the Government’s 10-point plant which highlighted the importance of hydrogen and DAC.

Stepping foot in the hydrogen economy, Sizewell C is planning to develop a small demonstrator project using an electrolyser with the potential to produce up to 800kg of hydrogen per day.
