Slovakia to benefit from 5% hydrogen blending by late 2023

Slovakian gas transmission operator EUSTREAM will be technologically capable of transporting hydrogen blends of up to 5% in its pipelines with natural gas by the end of 2023.

This could also increase in the future to accommodate the expected gradual increase in hydrogen supply and demand.

EUSTREAM plans to install new devices across its network in the next two years to ensure that the Slovakian grid is ready to work with hydrogen blends.
