Subsurface storage for green hydrogen off the coast of Ireland set to be developed

Offshore green hydrogen subsurface storage in Ireland is set to be developed by Irish utility provider ESB, and affiliate of Snam, dCarbonX under a freshly inked agreement.

The companies have revealed they have signed a joint venture agreement to allow them to progress large-scale storage projects off the coast of Ireland and intend to actively explore and develop opportunities.
