Tasmania receives funding to scale up its green hydrogen capacity

New funding has been announced to advance Tasmania’s green hydrogen production capability by 2025.

The Minister for Energy and Renewables, Guy Barnett, believes the funding will progress Tasmania towards establishing the commercial-scale production of green hydrogen.

The undisclosed funding will also support the development of a domestic renewable hydrogen capability throughout Tasmania and strengthen its Net Zero emissions status and competitive advantage.
