Topsoe to supply ammonia loop technology to 250,000 tonne hydrogen plant

Topsoe has agreed with World Energy GH2 it will supply dynamic ammonia loop technology to a Canadian renewable hydrogen plant.

The plant, Project Nujio’qonik, is expected to be one of the world’s first-to-market renewable hydrogen projects, located in the Bay St. George region of Newfoundland and Labrador.

Topsoe’s technology will be used to generate up to 1,650 metric tonnes per day of renewable ammonia at the site, which World Energy GH2 anticipate will begin producing hydrogen in 2025.
