Trafigura Group has agreed with H2 Energy Europe Holding AG founders to increase its shareholding in the company as it plans to ramp up large-scale green hydrogen production projects.
Trafigura will become majority owners and will not only scale up its hydrogen projects, but also increase its mid and downstream hydrogen supply and distribution infrastructure in Europe.
Trafigura will retain its support for and minority equity interest in H2 Energy Holding AG to continue to focus on developing green hydrogen ecosystems and technologies.
