UK Government launches new aviation group dedicated to hydrogen and battery innovation

A new aviation group dedicated to exploring both hydrogen and battery technologies within the aerospace industry will work closely with the UK Government to lead innovation.

Revealed on Wednesday (April 20), the Zero Emission Flight (ZEF) Delivery Group will aim to invest £685m ($895m) over the next three years in a bid to progress hydrogen aviation innovation and expand the UK’s zero-emission flight capabilities.
