UK’s Hydrogen South West elects new Chair

UK regional association Hydrogen South West (HSW) has appointed Costain’s Director for Integrated Transport, Andy Clarke, as its new Chair.

Having been a board member of HSW since its inception in 2021, Clarke takes the position to replace the outgoing Simon Earles, Sustainability and Corporate Affairs Director at Bristol Airport, who is stepping down after nearly two years in the position.

In his role at Costain, Clarke has been responsible for creating multi-modal transport solutions which leverage cross-sector collaboration, new approaches and digital technologies, and is committed to supporting the transition to green transport, including the development of hydrogen.
