Ulstein unveils hydrogen ship

Ulstein, a family-owned ship manufacturer, has unveiled its first hydrogen-powered ship design which is now market-ready, offering zero emission marine operations.

The Ulstein SX190 Zero Emission DP2 construction support vessel features a Nedstack fuel cell power system and can cater for a variety of offshore support operations.

“The maritime industry needs to align and be ambitious in bringing green solutions forward for a sustainable future,” said Tore Ulstein, Deputy CEO for the Ulstein Group.
