Wood to evaluate feasibility of Centrica’s 1GW Easington hydrogen hub plans

Wood has revealed it is working with Centrica Storage to evaluate the feasibility of transforming its gas processing terminal in Easington, UK, into a low-carbon hydrogen production hub.

Centrica previously signed a cooperation agreement with Equinor to develop the hub at the site in East Yorkshire to support the Humber region’s decarbonisation ambitions.
