Worley to undertake FEED study for Queensland’s ‘largest’ renewable hydrogen project

Worley will undertake front end engineering design (FEED) work for Stanwell Corporation’s 2.2GW Central Queensland Hydrogen Project (CQ-H2).

Initially planned to install 640MW of electrolysers to produce up to 200 tonnes of renewable hydrogen per day, the project is expected to start commercial operations in 2028.

If successful, the site could expand to around 2,240MW of electrolysis capacity, producing 800 tonnes per day by 2031.
