Yara to produce enough green hydrogen for 20,5000 tonnes of ammonia per year at Norwegian facility

Hydrogen will be utilised within a new Yara green ammonia production facility aiming to produce a zero-carbon solution for fertilisers in Herøya, Norway.

Revealed today (Dec 17), the company has now started the primary development of this project with an investment of NOK 283.25m ($31.48m) that will enable the production of hydrogen through renewable generation.
