Following recent partnership announcement between GenCell Energy and AMORELE Technology, Inc., H2 View spoke to Rami Reshef, CEO of GenCell and Alain M. Caparanga, CEO of AMORELE Technology, Inc. to discuss the new partnership and the potential for fuel cell deployment across the Philippines.

Fuel cells to support power outages in the Philippines

The integration of fuel cell technology aims to help the Philippines reduce its carbon footprint and help institutions across the country to keep running during power outages which are often caused by inclement weather conditions or natural disasters.

“With the Philippines being the third in the list of the world’s riskiest, disaster-prone countries and most vulnerable to natural disasters, the need for primary and back-up power is a must,” said Caparanga.
