Repsol, EDP to collaborate on building the renewable hydrogen ecosystem in the Iberian Peninsula

Renewable hydrogen projects across Spain and Portugal are set to be developed as part of a new agreement signed between Repsol and EDP.

Formalised with the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU), three potential projects will be explored as sites for the production of renewable hydrogen with two in Spain and one in Portugal.

The potential projects identified include creating a hydrogen valley in Asturias, a Basque hydrogen corridor project, and a renewable hydrogen production site in Sines.
